Retainers & Advice
We are retained as external general insurance regulatory and compliance advisers by insurers, intermediaries, lenders and retailers operating in the consumer general insurance market. In addition, although Malcolm Padgett no longer practises as a solicitor, he brings a wealth of legal experience and wisdom to supplement our services to clients.
Our retainer arrangements are flexible and are agreed to meet each client’s needs. Retainers include our Insurance Monitoring and General Insurance Knowledge Online services.

Insurance Monitoring
Our highly regarded Insurance Monitoring service provides clients, for a fixed monthly or annual fee, with proactive updating of all regulatory developments affecting their general insurance activity. The service comprises detailed commentary and information, delivered by email, with both interpretation and strategic implications of each regulatory development covered. The Insurance Monitoring service is more than simply the supply of information – you will be joining a “network” of companies who also subscribe. We encourage subscribers to raise issues with us, and by hooking into the network we can deliver, for you, real added value whilst maintaining corporate confidentiality.

General Insurance Knowledge Online
General Insurance Knowledge Online is a subscription based, password protected, continually updated, web-based resource providing over 120 pages of information on the law and regulation affecting general insurance conduct of business. Each page answers three key questions:-

Training
Malcolm Padgett is a highly renowned speaker and trainer on general insurance regulation. He is a regular speaker at the Protect Trade Association and undertakes training for the Finance and Leasing Association.
Malcolm delivers in house regulatory “roadshows” and tailor made training for clients and can provide all necessary knowledge and awareness for compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority requirements, whether for senior management or for other staff.
