Product Review and Foundation Training 2021-22

The two most popular of our training courses have been fully updated, ready for the autumn/winter training “season”.

They are:-

• The Foundation Course (minimum 9 hours CPD) – aimed at ensuring that all staff get the breadth and depth of training required by the FCA, under SYSC 28, for insurance firms. The content is aimed at a broad overview, but a deep understanding, of the fundamental expectations of the regulatory regime. It is suitable for new staff, and as an excellent refresher for existing staff at all levels. The course can be delivered in whatever structure suits you but, typically, may be via 6 x 1.5 hour online sessions. The usual cost is £2,250 + vat, but this may vary depending upon your requirements for the delivery of the training;
• Product Reviews (minimum 3.5 hours CPD) – this is a fully updated course to take account of the requirements of PROD from 1 October 2021. The course is suitable for all senior management and for all other staff who are either involved in product design or distribution, or who may otherwise participate in your product review work. The context is a carefully considered mix of regulatory information and practical hints and tips arising from my work with clients in this area. The course is normally delivered online, in one day, and the usual cost is £950 + vat. This, again, may vary upon your requirements for the delivery of the training.
